On your turn you either move one square or place one wall.
A wall is two squares long. You can't jump over it, only go around.
You may never block anyone's path completely.
The game doesn't end with the first finisher. A player who reaches the finish takes a place and leaves the board; the rest play on until 1st, 2nd and 3rd place are decided. The last player left takes the next place.
Each player's finish is marked by a bar in their colour along the board's edge and tinted squares. The finish of the player on turn is thicker and brighter.
If an opponent stands next to you, jump over them. If there's a wall or another pawn behind them, move diagonally.
Board: 9×9 for up to 4 players. With 5–6 players, Classic is played on a pentagon or hexagon board and Race on 11×11. Walls each: 10 with 2 players, 7 with 3, 5 with 4, 6 with 5, 5 with 6.
Classic: everyone starts on their own side and races to the opposite one. With 3 players the starts are bottom, left and right. With 5 the board is a pentagon: each player runs from their side to the opposite corner. With 6 it's a hexagon: to the opposite side.
Race: everyone starts side by side on the bottom row. Whoever reaches the top row first wins.
Drag a wall into a groove between squares, or turn on “Place a wall” mode. On a phone, the first tap shows the wall and the second places it.
