Today’s Dot Link daily puzzle board

How it works

The daily board is generated from the date, so your friends see exactly the same dots. Board size follows the weekday, with the hardest boards at the weekend:

DayBoardColors (about)
Monday7×73–4
Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday8×84–5
Wednesday, Friday9×95–7
Saturday10×106–8

Fewer colors than the regular levels of the same size means longer lines, which is what makes a daily feel different from pack levels.

Streaks

Solve the daily on consecutive days and the streak counter on the home screen grows; miss a day and it starts again from 1. The stars you earn on a daily (★★★ for a perfect solve, ★★ clean, ★ with a hint) are added to your total. You can replay today’s board as often as you like, but only the first solve counts for the streak.

Sharing your result

After solving, Share copies a short line with the daily number, board size, stars and your streak, ready for a chat or a story. Nothing personal is included.

Tip: solve the daily first, then warm up on levels: the daily uses the long-line logic from the harder packs, so it is good practice for 10×10 and up.

Daily versus levels

Regular levels (660 of them) are ordered by difficulty and unlock one after another. The daily is a single board you cannot choose, which is the point: it is a shared challenge rather than a ladder.

FAQ

When does the daily change?

At midnight in your device’s local time. The board is derived from the calendar date, so everyone in the same day gets the same puzzle.

What if I miss a day?

The streak resets to 1 with your next solve. Your stars from earlier dailies stay.

Can I play yesterday’s puzzle?

Not from the menu; the daily is deliberately one board per day. The regular levels are always available.

Is the daily harder than the levels?

It uses fewer colors than a pack level of the same size, so the lines are longer. A Saturday 10×10 is comparable to the end of the 9×9 pack.
