Flow puzzle online

If you know “flow” games from your phone, you know the rule: pair the colors, don’t cross the pipes, fill the grid. Dot Link is that puzzle as a web page, with hundreds of levels and nothing to install.

A completed 8×8 flow puzzle in Dot Link

The flow rule set

  • Every color has exactly two dots. Connect them with one unbroken pipe.
  • Pipes occupy cells; two pipes can’t share a cell, so they never cross.
  • Every cell must end up inside a pipe. That is what separates a flow puzzle from simple dot-joining: the lines have to fill the board.
  • One move per color with no hints is a perfect solve (★★★).

Board sizes

Packs go from 4×4 to 14×14 and then 15×15 forever; see the level table. The number of colors ranges from 3 on the first board to 16 on the biggest. Within a pack the color count falls as you progress, which lengthens the pipes and makes the boards harder even though the grid stays the same size.

How to get better

Edges first, corners next, long pipes last, and count the empty cells before committing. The strategy page explains each of these with examples. Undo is free, so test an idea rather than guessing a whole board.

FAQ

Is this the same as Flow Free?

It follows the same classic rule set (connect matching colors, no crossing, fill the board), but Dot Link is an independent, free web game with its own levels, endless mode and daily puzzle.

Can I play the flow puzzle on a computer?

Yes. It works in any modern desktop browser with the mouse; Ctrl+Z undoes a move.

Are there pipes with bridges or walls?

Not yet. Every board is a plain square grid, which keeps the logic pure; sizes and color counts provide the difficulty.

Is there a limit on hints?

No. A hint draws one color from the built-in solution and caps that level at one star, but you can use as many as you like.
