What you do
- Pick a dot and drag toward its twin of the same color. The line bends with your finger.
- Keep lines apart: they can’t cross, and drawing through one cuts it.
- Link every pair and cover every cell. Both are needed to finish.
The first levels take seconds. By 8×8 you are planning routes; by 12×12 you are counting cells. Full rules.
Why it is addictive
Each board is a small, closed problem with a clear end: when the fill counter hits 100 % you are done. There is no timer and no lives, so you can stare at a board for as long as you want or come back tomorrow; progress is saved in the browser. The difficulty ramps slowly across 660 levels, so there is always a next step that is slightly harder than the last.
Good for
- Short breaks: a 6×6 board is a one-minute puzzle.
- Kids: the 4×4 and 5×5 packs need no reading and teach planning.
- Puzzle fans: 14×14 boards with 16 colors and an endless mode after that.
- Daily habit: the daily puzzle with streaks.
No download, no account
Dot Link runs as a web page on Android, iPhone, tablets and computers. Nothing is installed, nothing is paid for, and there is no registration: open the link and the first board is on the screen. It is part of GameUZB, a free games site from Uzbekistan, next to chess and Quoridor.
FAQ
Is this the picture kind of connect-the-dots?
No. There are no numbers and no hidden drawing. It is a logic puzzle: colored dot pairs on a grid, lines that may not cross, and a board that must be filled completely.
Is the connect the dots game free?
Yes, completely. All 660 levels, the endless mode and the daily puzzle are free, with no in-game purchases.
Does it need a download?
No. It runs in the browser on phones and computers. You can add the page to your home screen if you like, but it is not required.
How many players?
It is a single-player puzzle. You can compare results with friends on the same level number or on the daily, because every player gets identical boards.
