Bazaar game — trading at the Central bazaar

Like Chorsu or Olmazor: tandoor smoke, queues, haggling. In Savdo Shahri the bazaar is alive: people come out of the metro, look for flatbread in the morning and ice cream in the heat, and sit down to eat at lunch.

Three permanent bazaars

  • Central bazaar — a medium city with 6 bots; the busiest one, where newcomers start.
  • Mahalla — a small city with 3 bots for a calmer start.
  • Big city — the most grown city with 6 bots. Every room is endless: the city grows as players buy plots, the state is saved and an offline player’s shop stays for 24 hours, so long-term businesses are built.

Players also create their own bazaars, open or closed with a 4-letter code.

Where the foot traffic comes from

Shoppers appear at exit points: metro stations (on every second street, with new ones opening as the city grows), plazas, parks and bus stops. The flow shifts with the time of day: the metro is busy in the morning and evening, plazas and parks at midday; on “metro under repair” or “plaza festival” days other spots win, so there is no single best plot. Each shopper picks one of the shops within 70 metres. Risk grows with wealth: a shop with hot equipment can catch fire and a freezer or juice machine can lose power (buy a 🧯 extinguisher and a 🔋 generator or deal with it yourself), a health inspector fines dirty tables, after 80 mln a rival chain moves in against you; for 400 mln you build a metro station on your street and climb the titles from Trader to Sultan and Legend. Neighbouring shops share one point’s flow, so a rival next door means fewer customers. When buying a plot, check its ⭐ 1–5 rating: that is the plot’s traffic.

A fully equipped city shop gets about 3× the shoppers of a village one, but the plot costs 10–40M som and tax is 12 %. A village plot is 250k–1.5M with 5 % tax.

Daily news and pricing

Every day the bazaar gets a news item that shifts demand: ☀️ hot weather doubles demand for ice cream and juice; 🌅 morning puts flatbread and coffee at ×1.8; 🍽 lunchtime brings more dine-in guests. Whoever sells the trending product earns more that day.

You set the price from 0.7× to 1.5×: higher means fewer buyers, lower means longer queues. If the register is busy, raise the price; if the queue is empty, lower it. There is a 10-minute day cycle: morning, day, evening, night, and thieves come more often at night.

How to start

  1. Press “Play” and type a name: no sign-up, password or download.
  2. Your first shop is free (the cheapest empty plot in the village). Pick a product; flatbread is the easiest start.
  3. Sell yourself first: carry goods from the station to the counter and stand at the register. Once cash builds up, hire a cashier and a carrier.

FAQ

What do I need to enter the bazaar?

Just a name. A browser (Chrome, Safari) and internet on a phone or computer. No download, no sign-up.

When does the game end?

It doesn’t: there are no rounds or time limits. The city keeps growing, shops are saved, the rating is permanent and you continue when you come back.

Can another player take my shop?

No. They can only make an offer; the shop changes hands only if you accept within 25 seconds. Only the cash at the register can be stolen, so hire a guard.
