How to play online

  1. Open the game and find the Online card in the menu.
  2. Quick match: a random opponent, first to 3 goals; the result counts for your rating.
  3. Play a friend: you get a short code and a link. The match starts as soon as your friend opens it; first to 3 or 5, as set in the menu.
  4. The whole screen is your button: tap to jump and kick, hold to keep the leg up. On a computer use Space, W or ↑.

Fair by design

The server runs the same physics 60 times a second and decides every goal and the final score, so nobody can change the result in their browser. Round conditions (ball, players, pitch, goals) are the same for both sides. Opponents only see each other as an automatic name like Player 1234, and there is no chat.

Playing from far away

  • Your own players react at once: the game predicts the next moment and gently corrects it when your opponent’s press arrives. On a slow connection this shows up as a small jump of the other team, not a frozen screen.
  • A ping in milliseconds is shown in the corner, and a calm hint appears if the connection gets weak.
  • If a connection drops, the match waits 15 seconds and continues from the same moment when you are back. A side that does not return loses.

When nobody is online

If no free opponent turns up within about ten seconds, the game offers a match against the computer, which is always labelled Computer on screen. The online count is real: no fake opponents and no fake numbers.

FAQ

Do I need an account to play online?

No. Open the page and press Quick match or Play a friend: no sign-up and nothing to download.

Can my friend join from another country?

Yes. Send the link: the match works across the world and smooths out the delay.

Are the opponents real people?

Yes, online matches are always against people. If nobody is free, the game offers the computer instead and says so clearly.
