Jumping and moving
- The longer you hold jump, the higher you go: a tap gives a low hop (to slip under ceiling spikes), a full press clears about one and a half times your height.
- To climb a ladder, stand in front of it and hold up (jump on a phone); jump with a direction held to leap off.
- You can jump up through thin planks from below; stand on one and press down to drop through.
- A spring always throws you to the same height; steer left and right in the air.
- Push a crate from the side; while a crate or boulder rests on a large plate, its gate stays open (the hero alone is too light). A timed plate you press yourself, and its gate opens for a few seconds.
Checkpoints, time and marks
Longer levels have lanterns: run past one to light it, and after a fall you continue from there. The clock starts with your first move and keeps running through falls. The results screen shows your time, the number of falls and up to three marks: one for clearing the level, two and three for beating the times shown on that level.
The summary adds up your best time on every level, with total marks and falls. It is always in the level list, and the results screen of level 30 offers it with its own button.
