A Wordle-style game with more to play
Enter any five letter word, watch the tiles turn green, yellow or gray, and use the clues to find the hidden word within six tries. There are 2,005 common hidden words, chosen from frequency data and reviewed by hand, and 17,450 accepted guesses, so normal words and plurals are not rejected.
Here S and E are in the right spot, while T, A and L are not in SHINE at all.
So‘zdon is an independent game with its own word lists. It has no connection to Wordle or The New York Times.
Daily or unlimited
The daily word is shared by all players and keeps a streak. Unlimited practice gives you a new random word as often as you like, and the archive holds the past 30 daily words. Each language keeps separate statistics.
Good first letters
In our list of hidden words the most common letters are E 47.2%, A 39.7%, R 36.8%, O 29.6%, T 28.8%, L 27.6%, I 27.5%, S 27.3%. That is why AROSE, LATER, ALTER make strong openers. The full table is on the best starting words page.

Yes. The daily word is free, and practice mode has no limit at all.
Are plurals accepted?
As guesses, yes. Hidden words are mostly base forms, so plurals are rarely the answer.
Is this Wordle?
No. It is an independent Wordle-style game with its own word lists and design, and is not affiliated with Wordle.
