The three puzzles of one day: Easy, Medium, Hard

How it works

  • A new day starts at midnight Tashkent time, and three new puzzles open at that moment.
  • The puzzle is computed from the date: your phone, your computer and every other player see exactly the same board.
  • A started game is saved: begin at lunch and finish in the evening if you like.

How the leaderboard works

Each day and level has its own table. Results are open and checked:

  • The server keeps the time. From the first time you open it until you fill it in. Restarting does not reset it, and pauses and time away count too. The on-screen timer shows only your playing time, so the two can differ.
  • The grid is checked. The server works out the solution itself and compares it with what you send. Impossibly fast results are rejected.
  • Hints are separate. Results that used a hint do not mix with the main table: they go to the “With hints” table.

Calendar and streak

Under each day in the calendar are three dots showing which puzzles you solved. Solve at least one on its day and your streak goes on. You can open and solve past days too, but they do not count for the streak or leaderboard.

Which one to choose

Easy is a morning warm-up, solved with singles alone. Medium needs a locked candidate or a pair once or twice, which makes it good for learning notes. Hard makes you really think, with triples or many pairs. If you get stuck, use a hint: it does not remove you from the leaderboard, it just moves you to the other table.

FAQ

When does a new puzzle appear?

Every day at 00:00 Tashkent time (UTC+5).

Can I solve yesterday’s puzzle?

Yes, from the calendar. The result stays on your device but does not count for the leaderboard or streak.

Why is my leaderboard time longer than the timer?

The server measures it non-stop from start to finish. The on-screen timer stops when the page is hidden.

What if I am offline?

You can keep solving a puzzle you started, and the result is saved on your device. To reach the leaderboard you need a connection at the start and at the end.
