How it works

A new 4×4 board opens every day at midnight Tashkent time.
The starting tiles and the order of the next ones are the same for everyone. If two people make the same moves, their boards are identical.
Your first attempt is ranked. After that you can practise as much as you like, without ranking.
Close the page and your attempt is not lost: carry on when you return. An unfinished attempt from yesterday goes on yesterday’s table.
Undo is available here too, but using it costs today’s only ranked attempt its ranking, and you are warned first.

Why it is fun

In regular 2048, chance plays a part: someone may simply get kinder tiles. In the daily, everyone has the same conditions and the only difference is your decisions. That makes comparing with a friend fair: same board, same order.

At the end of the game the Share button sends your score to Telegram or another app, and the daily table shows where you stand today.

Tips for your one attempt

Do not rush: there is no timer, and your attempt waits all day.
Choose your corner from the start. A mistake in the first 100 moves costs dearly later.
You cannot rehearse this board beforehand, so try the strategy in a regular game first.
