Three ways to play
- Play now — you land in a public room in your language (words in English, Russian or Uzbek). As soon as a second person joins, the game starts by itself in 6 seconds; if a game is already running, you join from the next word.
- With friends — you open a private room and send the link; up to 8 people can join. The host picks the rounds, timer, word difficulty and word language. More.
- Guess the drawing — solo mode: the bot artist Rassom sketches one of 216 hand-made drawings stroke by stroke while you race the clock. 8 drawings, from easy to hard.
How one turn goes
- The drawer is offered three words: easy, medium and hard. There are 15 seconds to choose, otherwise one is picked automatically.
- Everyone else sees how many letters the word has: “_ _ _ _”. As time runs down, a few letters are revealed.
- Guesses appear in the feed. A correct answer is never shown to anyone, only “Ali guessed it”, so the word stays secret.
- When everyone has guessed or time is up, the word is revealed with everyone’s points. Then the next player draws.
Safe and fair
The only text other people see is guesses. They are checked against swearing and insult lists in three languages (including letter swaps and spaced-out tricks), and links, phone numbers and contact details are blocked outright. Drawings are never stored and there is no gallery. If someone draws or writes something nasty, tap their name and report them: when enough players report, they are removed from the room. The bot is always labelled BOT and never guesses, and the player count shows real people only.
The words
Each language has 544 words: animals, food, household things, transport, nature, jobs and actions (“swim”, “sneeze”). Everything is concrete and drawable, with no religion, politics, weapons, alcohol or brands, so it is fine to play with kids.
FAQ
Is this Pictionary or skribbl.io?
No. Those are other companies’ games and they are not on this site. Sketch & Guess is our own game in the genre, with its own words, drawings and rules.
Do I need an account?
No. You get a name automatically (like “Quiet Heron”) and can change it.
What if nobody else is online?
If you are alone in a public room for 15 seconds, we offer the bot’s drawings to guess. You can also keep waiting; a chime plays when someone joins.
Is it free?
Yes. There is nothing to buy, no in-game currency and no random rewards. Points come from skill only.
